Manodopera

The project stems from the desire to deepen and understand what can be called “work of art”; and because, too often, the handicrafts are not considered as such, but “downgraded” to simple productions.

Artisans, with deep knowledge of the subjects that use and the special relationship established with them, do not just “create” an object, but to literally give life to what was essentially a raw, unformed, insignificant.

And it is so, that is “extracted” all the intensity, the essence, the soul, a work of art.

The photos were exhibited in Milan at:

Currently they are displayed and sold at  “Italian Fine Art Gallery di Maria Mucciolo”.
